Methodology
How we test
A practical comparison lab for buyers — not a benchmark suite.
Comparison layers
Layer B — Product
Official vendor apps — what buyers actually subscribe to.
Layer C — Workspace
Creative suites that wrap multiple models — workflow speed.
Layer D — API access
Same model via fal.ai etc. — cost and access path.
Battle types
Model Battle
Same prompt on official model sources — raw output comparison.
Platform / Workflow
How creative platforms help produce usable output — UX, speed, workflow.
Ad Asset
Full creative package — video, voice, captions, edit-ready output.
Audio / Voice
Voiceover, dubbing, and commercial audio usability.
Budget Battle
Best usable output under a fixed spend cap.
1. One layer per battle
Layer B = official apps (Kling, Runway…). Layer C = workspaces (Higgsfield). Layer D = API (fal.ai). We do not mix them without labeling.
2. Transparent constraints
Every test shows tool, model version, date, prompt, settings, attempts, and cost. Practical buyer tests, not lab benchmarks.
3. Failures included
Failed generations count toward cost and are shown. Hidden failure rates are part of what you pay for.
4. Business use cases only
Property ads, product video, clinic promos — prompts marketers and agencies actually need.
Cost formula
Cost per usable clip = credits consumed + failed attempts + optional upscaling/export/editing
